Our Chef, Aldo Gonzalez was raised in a culinary household. At an early age he fell in love with creating and experimenting in the kitchen. The cuisine around the family table shared influences and elements from both their Mexican and Japanese heritage.Throughout his career, he has dreamed of sharing his own take on fusion cuisine with the masses and representing a unique experience through his recipes.Off The Plancha is the realization of this vision.Founded in 2021 in San Diego California, our mission to create innovative, and affordable Mexican/Japanese fusion cuisine, made from the freshest, highest quality locally sourced ingredients.View our calendar for upcoming events, markets and festivals or contact us to inquire about catering your next special occasion.
